What are
credit bureaus?
Credit bureaus
are private organizations that compile your credit
history and make that information available to lenders
to assess potential borrowers' creditworthiness. We
provide the credit bureaus with information regarding
the status of your account.
To the extent you believe we have inaccurately
provided information to a credit bureau, please contact
us by writing to us at: UmbrellaBank, a division of New
South Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 1111, Madison, WI

as well as all other information you believe we should
know about the situation. We will investigate and respond
to you within 30 days.

How
do I make sure credit bureau information is correct?
Your rights are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting
Act and vary depending on whether an action has been
taken as a result of a bureau report. Under the FACT
Act amendments to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you
are entitled to one free Personal Credit Report in a
12-month period from each of the nationwide consumer
credit reporting companies - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
To request this free annual credit report, you may contact
the Central Source on-line at www.annualcreditreport.com.
You can also contact the Central Source to request this
annual report by calling toll-free 877-FACT ACT or by
using the mail request form available at the Central
Source website by clicking the following link: www.annualcreditreport.com.
If you have been denied credit based
on information in a particular credit bureau report,
you are entitled to a free copy of your report from that
credit bureau, provided you ask for a report with 60
days of the notice to you. If you find that any information
contained in the report you receive is inaccurate or
incomplete, you have the right to dispute the matter
with the reporting agency. You may contact the credit
bureaus as follows:

Does
UmbrellaBank market to children?
UmbrellaBank does
not knowingly market any credit products to children
under the age of 18, nor do we solicit personal information
from children. In the event we receive an application
for credit from a child under 18, our processes are
designed to screen out applications so that a child
cannot open an account.
UmbrellaBank does
have several Savings account products directed toward
children under the age of 18 (such as our Early
Birds and Rising
Stars accounts). These accounts
are designed to educate children on the importance of
saving, as well as provide convenient, flexible, interest
bearing options for parents to save for their children's
future educational expenses (such as our Coverdell
Education Money Market Account). All of these
savings accounts require custodial or joint account ownership,
and must be opened by an individual 18 years of age or
older.
